Tax reductions in Morocco
The foreign investors in the real sector profit from a mode of convertibility which facilitates to them:
- the transfer of the incomes produced by these investments
- the transfer of the product of liquidation or transfer of the investments.
In addition to these advantages, the finance law 1995 lays down the reduction and the simplification of the administrative procedures related to the realization of the investments.
The investors in the real estate also profit from the exemptions and reductions concerning the taxes and the taxes hereafter:
Exemptions:
- urban tax for new constructions during 5 years
- tax on the real profits (TPI) for the first sale of the social housing
- tax of the licences during 5 years starting from the beginning of the exercise of a profession, an industry or a trade
- tax on the urban grounds not built for the grounds subjected to the tax of municipal administration and exploited by the companies in activity and the grounds acquired since less than three years
- tax on the operations of construction for the social housing.
Reductions:
